Usage and Disclosure:
As a general practice, LTTH PLT will refrain from using or disclosing an individual’s personal data for purposes other than its primary collection goal, unless:
- The individual has given explicit consent for the use or disclosure.
- The use or disclosure is mandated or authorized by law.
- The use or disclosure is reasonably necessary for a specified purpose by or on behalf of a regulatory or enforcement body.
Regarding LTTH PLT’s direct marketing activities:
- LTTH PLT will not impose charges on individuals for complying with requests to not receive direct marketing communications.
- Individuals receiving direct marketing communication from LTTH PLT can “unsubscribe” by contacting or emailing LTTH PLT’s Personal Data Protection Compliance Officer.
Personal Data Integrity:
LTTH PLT commits to taking reasonable measures to ensure that the personal information it collects, uses, or discloses is accurate, complete, not misleading, and up-to-date.
Personal Data Security:
LTTH PLT will adopt reasonable steps to safeguard personal data from loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Personal data will not be retained for longer than necessary, and reasonable steps will be taken to destroy or permanently de-identify it.
Access and Correction:
In line with the Act, LTTH PLT may, upon an individual’s request, grant access to their personal data and consider requests for correction. Decisions regarding access or correction are subject to exceptions under applicable laws and/or the Act. LTTH PLT may charge individuals to cover the costs associated with verifying requests for information and locating, retrieving, reviewing, and copying any requested material.
Stop Processing Requests:
Individuals, as per the Act, may submit a written request to LTTH PLT’s Personal Data Protection Compliance Officer to halt the processing of their personal data.
Disclosure to Third Parties:
LTTH PLT may disclose personal data to specific third parties performing functions on its behalf, such as IT service providers, data entry service providers, storage facility service providers, banks, financial institutions, insurance providers, professional advisers, external auditors, and regulatory and governmental authorities to comply with statutory and government requirements.
